Welcome to the Food Justice Bike Ride

We support causes that help fight hunger by making nutritious food available at an affordable cost to anyone who needs it.  This year's event will support Just Roots Greenfield Community Farm.  All ride  proceeds will benefit the Community Support Agriculture (CSA) program that supports socio-economically disadvantaged members participating in the Food Share program at Just Roots.  Our goal is to raise $10,000 and provide $100 of support for each family in the program.

This is the second annual event for Food Justice Bike Ride and we hope there will be many more to come.  There is a lot of great bike terrain in Franklin and nearby Counties, and we hope to be exploring them, so we hope you'll join us.  This is a "feel good" event.  You will benefit from the community spirit, the ride in the country, and from a nice meal catered by Stone Soup Cafe at the end.  You'll also feel great about furthering the cause of Food Justice at Just Roots Greenfield Community Farm.

Before I go, I want to thank this year's Presenter, the Franklin County Rotary Club, our wonderful Partner, Franklin First Federal Credit Union, and the early sponsors and Just Roots (our on-site host) who helped us pull this event together.  It is really nice to see the business community at large take an active interest in our cause.  Please check our the Sponsor page for more information.

Enjoy yourself and thanks again for participating.
